For a wow experience of a lifetime, make special arrangements to visit Eiland Spa, an ATKV holiday resort situated between Tzaneen and Phalaborwa, in the Limpopo province.

We had the privilege to visit the resort during the June 2010 school holidays. Being the parents of two very energetic boys, we are always on the look out for a holiday destination that will keep them entertained and also provide us with the opportunity to rest and to take a well deserved break.

We visit the resort at least once a year and the boys always enjoy holidays at the resort. Since the ATKV took over the resort approximately two years ago however, we could really see a huge improvement in the facilities. Most of the bathrooms in the caravan park had been revamped and it is really a pleasure making use of the ablution facilities.

The resort offer the following usual activities :

• Making use of the big warm outside swimming pool, cold pool, baby pool and an under roof hydro spa, with a beauty salon,
• Putt- putt,
• Super tube,
• Trampolines,
• Tennis,
• Horse riding,
• Bowls,
• Visiting the Tsonga Kraal and Hans Merenskry Nature Reserve.

In addition, a holiday program was presented during the period 10 June to 10 July to provide extra fun for the whole family. Music was played around the swimming pool area, and games where young and old could win fun prices were presented. For the soccer fans, soccer games were broadcasted on the big screen, and at night artists, including Lianie May, entertained the guests.

I need to make a special mention of the outreach team of Witbank NG Church. They entertained the young ones on a daily basis for two weeks, picking them up with the tractor and trailer and teaching them about God’s Word in a fun way. To the clowns Super, Dupper, Daisy and Lizzy and the rest of the team – may God continue to use you in a very special way.
